Paschal’s Restaurant & Bar definitely delivered on the food. Everything was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fish and chicken were crispy, the mac and greens were flavorful, and the yams were so good — honestly one of the tastiest items on the table right next to the catfish filets and chicken wings. Drinks were also great, no complaints there. Service was okay, but not very personable, especially considering how empty the restaurant was at the time. You’d expect a more top-tier, attentive experience in that setting. That said, there was one really nice guy who recommended the catfish, and he was absolutely right — it was amazing. I’ll definitely be back, preferably during a busier time, to really catch the true vibe of the place because the food alone makes it worth another visit

Paschal's is more than just a restaurant; it's a living piece of Atlanta's history and a true institution for Southern soul food. Stepping inside, you can feel the rich legacy that permeates the space. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with a vibe that honors its past while offering an elegant dining experience. The food, however, is the main event and it completely blew me away. The legendary fried chicken lived up to its reputation—crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside. We started with some great appetizer choices like the **catfish tenders** and the unique **collard green dip**, both of which were fantastic. The traditional sides were equally impressive. The **potato salad** was creamy and perfectly seasoned, tasting like something a grandmother would make.

There was a mixup with our reservation, but Bri (sp?) stepped in without hesitation and took EXCELLENT care of us!!! It was my last time visiting Paschal's before relocating and my uncle was visiting from out of town, and this experience was the best I've had. The food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere was all top notch. If nothing else, Bri deserves a raise...STAT!!!

After hearing a lot of hype, so my expectations were pretty high. I ordered the blackened salmon, which was ok. The fried green tomatoes were the bomb, just a little on the thicker side, but still really enjoyable. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes came out cold, which was disappointing. I had the bread pudding, but the sauce tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge, which was a big letdown. I was honestly disappointed. We went as a group of 12 people, and no one was impressed. Some of us were from Atlanta and others from Chicago, so it wasn’t just an out-of-town perspective. That said, the customer service was nice and attentive, which I appreciated. Overall, the experience was just okay and didn’t live up to the hype. The art was beautiful, though. I wouldn’t go back.

Paschal’s was a must-visit when I was doing my research on food in Atlanta, and I’m glad we came. I had the fried chicken with mac n’ cheese, and candied yams, and I have to say, it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and adding their sport pepper sauce took it to another level. The mac n’ cheese was spot on..it was creamy and flavorful. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding with both the blueberry sauce and the rum sauce. Both were good, but the rum sauce was my favorite. Service was excellent, our server, Janisha, was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. She even sent me home with a cup of sweet tea to go, which was a nice touch. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Atlanta.
