Parsons Historical Society & Museum Complex

They were so knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions we may have. One man even kind of guided us around and told us all about the history of Parsons and the people in it.

This is an awesome place to learn history about Parsons Kansas. staff is awesome and friendly and treat you like family if you need to know something they tell you and explain everything, I recommend everybody to go check it this place is also free to go to they do take donations

The museum has a large donated model train station located in a train car in the back lot. I highly suggest checking them out as well as making a donation to help keep the museum a float. The train car is also handicap accessible, but the inside of the car is a tad tight.

Very Impressed. A Gem right here in my hometown. Hadn't been to it for 40 years. Very impressed with the additions and improvements. Staff is very friendly and inviting. Thanks to all who are involved with it!

For warning you, the part I tried accessing wasn't open, and is only open during May to October. I was dissapointed to learn this as its closed for around half a year. :(
