Parlor Newport

Stopped by here for some food during my travels in RI. The place looked inviting and caught my eye as I drove by so the decision to eat here later that day was made then. Between the cozy aesthetics and the warm lighting I was already in love with this place the second I walked in. Now lets talk food, I had the chicken prosciutto parm and whatever they did to the pasta(not red sauce) was out of this world! Finally, lets talk about this icecream on the dessert menu with white balsamic and caramel. Not a combination I had thought of before but after having it here I am left craving it

Cozy chairs, cute street, incredible food. :) Newport felt like an overcrowded irritation, but this spot felt like a hidden oasis in the midst of all the tourist chaos. I would go here, hands down, just for the icecream.. WHITE BALSAMIC CARAMEL SAUCE OVER HOME MADE PUMPKIN ICECREAM OMGGGGG

First time visiting this restaurant. Atmosphere was very chill. It was really quiet and pretty empty so a good day to go if you’re looking for a spot to go with friends where you can talk and actually hear each other. Enjoyed the food. The steak was cooked how I ordered (medium) and the fries were good (but I wish they were a little hotter). Also wish they had more dessert options. I would definitely go back.

Met a few college friends here during a reunion weekend. Loved the vintage vibe and the pool table in the back. Drinks were consistent and reasonably priced. It struck the perfect balance between lively and laid-back we were able to actually talk and catch up without shouting.

We came for Sunday brunch and were seated right away but it took about an hour to get our food. We were told that was due to some larger parties ahead of us but the place seemed pretty empty.. The food itself was good but the presentation needs improvement. Small menu for brunch, but still plenty of choices. No crab cake Benedict on the menu today, though
