Beautiful little place. First stay at a bed and breakfast. Certainly will not be our last stay at this little gem. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. They asked when we were leaving and it was before breakfast hours, but he did get some things made for us before we left. The room was clean and comfy. The small town historical feel, the history of the town made this place a great place to stay. Wish we would have stayed longer. We will be back
One of my hometown favs! Great food, and if you want to stay overnight, cozy yet roomy rooms. The inn has relaxing old time decor. Augusta is rated on some surveys as the number one most charming town in Kentucky. Th small town charm on the Ohio river is hard to beat. We have adorable shops and excellent dining.
Group of 15. Great server. Took time a bit but so did we. Cheesy chicken and stuffing was great!!!! Angel food cake with Carmel and ice cream was the best dessert I have ever had. Delicious!!!
Augusta one of my favorite places to visit and I've always wanted to try the food here but always seem to end up eating elsewhere for what ever reason. Today I was very fortunate enough to finally eat here at the Parkview Country Inn! Absolutely wonderful with an extremely pleasant atmosphere, and a buffet that will leave anyone with a smile and full belly. The home made bread was excellent and the iced tea was fresh. The buffet has options such as fried chicken, bbq pork, soups and chilli just to mention a few. The dessert menu was long with options ranging from peanut butter pie to blackberries pie. Anyone traveling the AA Highway really needs to stop at Augusta and check out the local area and eat here. You're cheating yourself if you don't, while you're at it hitch a ride across the Oh
My husband and I are in our late 20's early 30's and we ate here for dinner because of the reviews we saw. We were not impressed, they hardly had any homemade food, there were about 8 different things to choose from, and nats were everywhere. The salad bar consisted of salad, cheese, crutons, dressings, and a few other items such as broccoli salad. No eggs, meats, or other toppings for your salad. We were very much out of place here as it did not appeal to our age group. Our waitress was very nice and had a great personality. Not something I would recommend to others for the price we had to pay which was $12 per person.
