Carota's Pizza

Busy at 2:00 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Loaded fries were great! We got a 12" meat lovers pizza to share for 2 people and left with some slices in a to go box. Crust was crispy and of a good texture. The pizza sauce was very tasty! I'll be back to this local favorite spot during my next trip to Augusta.

The food is great! The staff is very friendly. I got a small veggie pizza and a sweet tea. I might go through sweet tea withdrawals later on. It's a neat little place with great outdoor dining in the middle of a beautiful little town. Right around the corner from Rosemary Clooney's house and the riverfront.

Loved this place. Came here on the recommendation of the Augusta Distillery crew. We were very happy we did, the service was outstanding, the ladies were fun and super pleasant. Would love to go here again sometime.

What a horrible 1st visit. I travel all over and when you visit a mom and pop looking restaurant you expect really good food and a wonderful experience. This being one of the only restaurants in town I was highly surprised it was completely empty besides myself. I asked the waitress if the chicken parmesan was good and if it was real chicken. She said it was so I ordered it. It ended up being a quarter inch thick frozen chicken patty that they attempted to Grille and it was quite disgusting. Overall the spaghetti was cooked correctly in the sauce I'm sure comes out of a can and was not made in the restaurant. I'm very surprised a larger food chain doesn't just buy this place and sell better food. The highlight of the dinner was the garlic bread. It was cooked perfectly crispy and seasoned
