Parkside Grill and Deli

Pinky's was great. Friendly familiar faces who actually care about what they are cooking and serving. All of the food was great and we had enough for leftovers which is always my favorite. If you need a colossal pancake, this would be the place for that! Glad to have somewhere good to eat close to home.

This place is absolutely amazing. I got the daily special which was Chicken Teriyaki with fries. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very, very long time. Even the dipping sauce was phenomenal, and then for dessert we had their Bread Pudding and once again it was spot on. The service was a 10/10, the price was great, and overall experience was an A++++. Highly recommend.

First time in the place. Was hoping to get a quick sandwich before picking up kids from school. I’m a patient person but... After waiting ten minutes at the cash register to order food I finally asked the one waitress in the place can I order food to go. She said “be with you in a minute”. So I wait five more minutes. No service, and yes it was 15 minutes. I got there at 213 left at 228. finally I gotta leave to get the kiddos. So here’s is some details on what I was looking at while I stood there for 15 minutes. It is quaint, cutely decorated, very clean. Service is fast. We had cheeseburger & fries takeout. Best cheeseburger - plump, hand made. Said they will be serving up full family meals also. Very nice to have a restaurant open at dinnertime in Parkside area of Alexandria. Fully recommend this place.

The owner of this establishment is AMAZING. First, let me just tell you - the food is so so so so soooooooo good! The prices are super affordable. I work for a long term care facility. We recently took a group of our residents to lunch there and it was so good. One of my residents requested a take-home order of bread pudding. They whipped up a fresh batch right then and there. I took it home to my resident who was going to save it for after dinner. Shortly after, we recieved a phone call from the owner of Parkside Grill. She apologized because she just realized the cooks had accidentally put salt in place of sugar in the bread pudding recipe. About an hour later, on her own time and accord, the owner herself hand delivered a fresh batch of bread pudding to the resident that had
