Campbell County Public Library: Alexandria Branch

I am posting here because I couldn't find the appropriate place to post my question. I would like to see inside photos of the inside and more recent news. I am thinking of moving back to Alexandria, and I use quite a few audio books. Currently, my library in Oldham County uses Libby, and I am happy with that. Also, what do you offer to the visually impaired? I have macular degenreation and will have special needs in the future.

I love the CCPL, Alexandria branch. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly, and polite. It is a joy to stop in there for a good book. Also, Shelby does a great job with baby storytime. She has fun books and songs each week. The babies love her!! I'd like to thank the staff for their hard work, dedication, and smiles. Keep up the wonderful work!

I have had two great experiences at the the Alexandria library. The first experience was when my daughter and I wanted to check out their toddler class. She is about to be two in April. We showed up about ten minutes before the class. No one was there yet to do the class and they had a sub bc the original toddler teacher had a sick child at home. When the time came to do the class we were still the only ones there and the sweet sub asked me and my daughter if we still wanted to do the class. I said sure and the teacher gladly took us in the toddler room read her a story and sang songs. I was so appreciative of it. And I hope they have more kids come to the toddler classes on Fridays. Growing up in Alexandria, I was a fan of the bookmobile that parked at the entrance to my street so I’m delighted to have this library branch in town - took ‘a few’ years!. I enjoy taking my toddler granddaughter for visits and the staff have cheerfully ordered books for me.

The Alexandria team creates a warm and inviting space. The employees’ passion about the library’s offerings is infectious. I’m grateful our town has its own library filled with fascinating books and engaging programs for children.
