Park Wood Deli

The sandwiches and pizza here are fantastic—everything tastes incredibly fresh. They have a great selection, and the portions are very generous for the reasonable prices. The service deserves a special shout-out. Even with a fair amount of people waiting, my food came out relatively quickly. The only significant drawback is the parking. There's very little space in the outside lot, and street parking is equally tough when it's busy. Plan accordingly! Absolutely worth a visit for the quality and value, but be prepared for a tight parking situation.

Stopped by on my to a project Pennsylvania, grabbed the Waldwick Warrior for lunch, and the Chicken Frances and South Beach Chicken Salad for supper. Decided to stop by again on Friday on my way back for the Italian Hero and some potato salad. The Chicken Frances, South Beach Chicken Salad and the Italian Hero were really good. The Waldwick Warrior was freaking awesome but the potato salad was killer. It is better than the potato salad I make.

Tasty sandwiches, very fair prices for 2025/2026; fresh mozz always hits; house made rice pudding always delicious! Always go here 1-2x a month for a “Francesca” or “JET” or “East Glen Ave” so never really tried their a la carte food, but the displays always look good too! Can’t beat the house made chicken cutlets either; great spot

Drove here to eat all the way from Maryland after seeing the YouTube shorts. Both sandwiches were absolutely amazing, fresh, and delicious. I think my favorite part was the chicken cutlet. For the price you get so much food! The owner, Roger, is such a great and kind man and has wonderful energy and vibes. Can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Park Wood Deli is an absolute gem in Midland Park, NJ. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family by the one and only “Deli Guy”—and trust me, the hype is real! My friend and I even got to hop behind the counter and help make one of their legendary sandwiches, which was such a fun and memorable experience. The food is made with so much love—literally. The Deli Guy’s 83-year-old mom still helps cook, and you can taste that homemade goodness in every bite. The sandwiches are top-notch and the pizza is incredible too! This place has such a loyal following, people travel from all over just to eat here. We even met someone who flew in from Texas and made it a point to stop by!
