Park Place Bagels 2

A classic spot- miss it all the time since I have moved out of the neighborhood which only solidifies how good this place is. Great coffee, amazing breakfast wraps and sandwiches, so speedy and consistent and everyone is so nice. I dream of you, Park Place 2!!!

Had promised the SO that I would take him for breakfast sandwiches on a Sunday (our favorite). Timing was not great as we got there after the kitchen grill was closed (won't make that mistake again). We were still able to have an egg salad sandwich, cream cheese bagel and a toasted blueberry bagel. Great variety of bagels and they are delish! They also do an impressive selection of sandwiches. Monday to Friday there is usually a line out the door, but the service is very efficient and the line moves quickly. There are only a couple of 2 seater tables available inside to sit down.

Amazing bagels and huge menu. We had the Novie (lox) and it was delicious! Very classic New York style bagels - chewy not bready - delicious.

First time I went here bagel was good no problems. I returned because I was working in the area and the simple bagel with butter and jelly made me nauseous. Third time I got one of the wraps and like some turkey and cheese I believe a signature sandwich on a wrap though. Was good going down but when I got home in the bathroom stomach killing me. So I vowed to never to go again, ...... Well back in the area again so I figure what could go wrong I just won't order that signature sandwich right? I got a buttered bagel and the other with butter and jelly it smelled like and tasted like refrigerator. I'm sure you know what a refrigerator smells like so imagine the taste. Not good. I’ve been coming to this bagel shop for years and have always supported them, but today was extremely disappointing. The shop wasn’t busy, yet I stood at the counter clearly waiting to order and was completely ignored. A man walked in after me, and the staff immediately greeted him while still saying nothing to me. Only when I finally turned to leave did someone ask if I needed anything — at that point, it felt dismissive and too late. After being a loyal customer for so long, I expected better. Sadly, the service today made me feel like my business didn’t matter, and I won’t be rushing back.
