Playa Bowls

Just tried for first time and will definitely be returning! Tried the protein power bowl for myself and ordered the Nutella bowl for my daughter we both loved so much! Place was very clean and staff very friendly as well. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend trying!

I went to Playa Bowls in Bronxville, NY to order two “Açai Energy” smoothies to go, and what I witnessed was absolutely unacceptable. As the girl behind the counter was “making” my order, I saw her go into the freezer and pull out premade smoothies. When I asked if she was about to use those for my order, she casually said yes. I’ve been to Playa Bowls locations all over New York, and this has NEVER happened anywhere else. I called over another worker (who seemed to be a manager or team leader) and asked if this was allowed. She told me the smoothies were made for a party that never showed up and were sitting in the freezer for about an hour. She also admitted the owner was aware of this practice! Let me be clear: I was about to be charged $25 for someone else’s abandoned order, pulled f
