Chowder was great and the beer selection was cheap and good. Definitely a local place and the service was excellent! I think the market price seafood is probably fresh because the haddock tasted like it was probably frozen. I loved the flags on the walls!
Park Lunch is a sports-themed pub filled with local and college sports memorabilia. As big Fighting Irish fans, my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere, though the space felt a bit cramped. It’s best for a quick meal rather than a place to linger. The menu is extensive and has plenty of options for all palettes. I went with the Crabmeat Roll, which was only $10.75 on the menu. The sandwich was decent, but the highlight of the night was my husband's Prime Rib, which he raved about. If we ever return, I would try something with a bigger portion, such as the seafood or the pizza. The best part of this restaurant is that the service is extremely warm and welcoming. We did not feel rushed, despite the restaurant being crowded.
We had clams and scallops, both were cooked perfect. The pictures were taken after we put some on our plate. Our waitress was attentive. We'll be back for sure.
Excellent spot to get a bite to eat after coming back from Boston from the train station. Waitress is friendly and has worked there many years. She shows pride in her work. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. Very good coleslaw too. Definitely will visit this place again.
👉 First timers! Visiting the area from 📍 South Florida. Stopped in for an impromptu lunch driving from Salisbury Boardbord to our campground in South Hampton, NH. 🫶Best Decision Ever.🫶 We were pleasantly surprised walking in and seeing the vibe and atmosphere. Loved all the college/ university flags. Bummed we didn't see Amherst, but we forgive you. We started with the soup of the day, stuffed mushroom soup. Just wow. So much flavor, so thick and creamy, and loaded with mushrooms. Each spoonful had not "a" mushroom but multiple, Yum! Spouse had the meatball sub and couldn't finish it. It was packed with flavor, and the meatballs were the size of golf balls. I had the roast beef sandwich. They sure weren't skimpy with the meat. It was thickly stacked. We shared the sour cream & chive
