Newburyport Fish

Great local spot to get fresh delicious seafood. So far I have gotten Branzino, salmon, fresh oysters and lobster tails. 10/10 recommend

GREAT seafood shop. Fred and his crew know fish and seafood and they have some of the best, freshest seafood in NBP. You can also get a poke bowl to eat now. Also, NBPfish is the host of the awesome Newburyport Oyster Fest each year at the end of September. Great time!

So clean and vibes of the building are fire!! fish was so fresh!! Gained a new customer for sure!!

Got two poke bowls. They forgot to put avocado in one (which had been an extra charge), didn’t put sauce in the other, and put peppers instead of jalapeños for both. The white rice was extremely hard and cold. The seaweed salad was also very bad. Only good thing was the tuna, which was fresh.

Lovely store and all the fish on display looked beautiful. We had the poke bowls and unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The prawns were small in size and quantity; the rice wasn’t fresh and was clumpy - and overall it was very expensive ($55 for two bowls). It was restaurant prices at the quality of a take out street van. The service also wasn’t special, bluntly spoken to, but appreciate all have bad days. So unfortunately left feeling very disappointed - hence the 2 star review, but it was close to 1 star. I hope others had a better experience.
