Park Forest Public Library

A great library in the community with amenities including study rooms, printing/faxing*, computers and seating throughout. There is also a new drive-up window. Patrons are warmly greeted upon entering the building. To the right (north side of building) is a space for adults. Whether reading, studying, or working, there is room to complete your goal for the day. The natural lighting, plants and fish tank are soothing. In the Kids Zone to the left (south side of building), there is always a craft set up for children to complete while visiting, as well as coloring sheets, and a couple of board games. Amazing location! Plus the building inside and out was immaculate 👌🏽👌🏽 Kodus to Sam for being able to help my family during the visit. This is a Library that you definitely should stop by.

This is one if my favorite places to take my kids. They have a great kids section and usually host many kids activities. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Since we can't go in yet because of the pandemic, we like to walk around and look at the beautiful flowers around the building. They're also conveniently located between a park, an Aquacenter, and Walgreens near downtown Park Forest.

Beautiful library! Nice layout, and overall positive environment to be in. I wish this were my library when growing up as a teenager (Was at the library everyday). The Staff, including the director are very kind and beautiful people.

I always have a great experience at this library. The building is beautiful and the gardens as you walk in set a great tone. The best part are the people that work here. A young woman helped me update my info. Then as I was scanning my books wrongly lol, a young man noticed me having trouble and came over and helped me. I was having kind of a bad day and these two young people made me feel so much better just with their kindness. Whoever does the hiring should be commended. They choose very well!
