Pappy’s

We came here for lunch on Labor Day before going on a tour at Kentuck Knob. I just googled restaurants and this came up and the reviews were good and the menu looked liked it had something for both of us. I was not sure what to expect - just thinking it was going to be like a little deli. We ordered the mile high chicken salad and an Italian sub with a side of the potato salad - I had seen online that it was so good you would wanna slap your momma. It was good but there was no slapping that occurred. We sat inside. The salad was huge. I couldn’t eat it all. I saw a dessert case but we didn’t get any. They have beer and other canned drinks. The staff member who took our order and brought it to the table was friendly. Prices were good. Parking was easy. There was an upstairs dining area

Pappy's has been a favorite of mine for a while, but the addition of their upstairs restaurant, "The Landing," is fantastic. The views are unbeatable, and the self-pour beer stations are a really fun feature. It's a great spot to hang out and enjoy a drink. Of course, they still have the best selection of craft beer to-go downstairs. Highly recommend!

This is the best place we’ve eaten on our trip from Kansas to DC. Chicken Tendies on the kids menu are fresh hand battered and the hand cut fries are delicious. Italian hoagies are huge and yummy. Service friendly and they served us outside. They have a large grassy area in back with picnic tables and room for the kiddos to run before getting back on the road. Love Pappys

Everything was amazing from food to the service! Got the “Zombie” and Cajun chicken Ranch quesadilla and both were awesome!

We ate up top and the vibes were immaculate. Our server Keisha (girl don't hate me if I misspelled that!) was so great and funny! The food was great and we loved the beer dispenser upstairs! We will definitely be back here!
