Papouli's Greek Grill Forum

A friend of mine made a very bold claim that this place was hands down the best greek eatery in the entire city of San Antonio. Me loving Greek food and good good in general had to check it out. Me and my wife and son went and had our socks blown off by the top tier service by the friendly staff and the excellent entrees . We will definitely be back in the future.

The food is delicious. We ordered the Med salads to go this time and they fulfilled our requests - one of which was to separate the hot meat from the cold salad. I'll add a photo of their current menu.

Absolutely LOVE this hidden gem! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a local Greek food place. I decided to try this place and fell in love! (I’ve been here 3 times in the past week lol) First time I came I tried the house plate with a chicken kabob and greek salad. Second time I decided to try the chicken pita, and I added the solo basil feta spread, which has become a favorite of mine! I also love the fact that they have wheat pita as an option. The staff are all friendly, and the restaurant is very homey and clean. 10/10 would recommend, and I will definitely be back again very soon!

I’ve been going to Papouli’s for probably 15 years - I previously lived near the Huebner location. I don’t get to go often, as I’ve moved. My mom and I stopped in since we were near the Forum. It took awhile to get our food because they were so busy. I was excited to see that - happy to see business is going well for one of my very favorite restaurants. Our food was delicious as always and the service was very friendly and they thanked us for being patient. We both got the lunch special - grilled chicken pita with a side. It’s always so tasty. I’ve been to Greece and I think this is as close as it gets here. :)

I come here regularly it’s one of the few places you can get genuinely healthy food. I love the workers, they are always kind and will answer all of your questions. Even called us once to let us know about a food allergy issue we weren’t aware of after ordering on DoorDash. Long time customer—will continue to be one. Great food, consistent quality, good vibes!
