We like to find unique places to eat, and when searching for a restaurant, we came across Papaya's Kitchen & Catering in Hooks, TX. The town is very small, so we were not sure what kind of restaurant we would find. The place was really clean and the owners were really nice and friendly. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. I had the special, chicken fried chicken with turnip greens and mashed potatoes. My wife had the Bubba burger with pineapple on it and sweet potato fries. If you're in the area during lunch, this is a place where you will want to stop in and eat.

The food is really good! The people that work there are also really sweet! Great service! I got to try quite a few things since I won a drawing for free food for a month but unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of some but these are what I got. Everything was really good!!

We had Papayas deliver food for our whole office today. They delivered it right on time, hot and fresh with a smile. Oh, and let’s talk about how they were so very eager to accommodate our gluten free team members as well.. Thank You Papayas!!
