Its a great place to grab a pizza that makes you feel like you got a home cooked meal. My family got a Jack-O-Lantern pizza for Halloween and it was delicious! I recommend eating at Papa Murphys just once to see what you think. I promise if you dont mind cooking a prepped pizza in the comfort of your home, then you won't be disappointed.

I had an extremely upsetting experience at the Papa Murphy’s on 12118 State Line Rd, Leawood, KS that I feel obligated to share. I received a pizza that had chicken on it, even though I had specifically requested no meat due to religious dietary restrictions. When I called to explain the issue, not only was I dismissed and told to “just eat it,” but the employee—Randy—also made a racially insensitive and offensive comment about my religion. Let me be clear: this wasn’t just a messed-up order. This was cultural and religious disrespect. I was treated with zero professionalism or empathy, and the way Randy spoke to me was blatantly discriminatory. Was very impressed! Had 2 pizzas that each were made with different halves - would be a tough order. We were delightfully surprised of the assembly and it tasted phenomenal! I wish it wasn't so tucked away so that more people would see the store. But if you've read this far, you might as well give them a shot 😉

We generally make our own crusts, sauce, and source authentic Italian ingredients. The last 2 Italian Classic pizzas we have picked up and baked at home rivals anything we spend hours prepping. The original crust is a perfect thickness and the garlic sauce instead of traditional red sauce is amazing. We have spent a lot of time in Italy, and it is really surprising to get a delicious pizza from a store. The cookie dough is not half bad either. Friendly staff and really quick to prepare a pie while I waited.
