I met my sister here for lunch during Restaurant Week. We made reservations and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, there was a bit of confusion on who our server was going to be but once we spoke to Anna, we were well taken care of. She took our orders immediately and brought us drinks. After that, Ari made sure our food came out in a timely manner. We enjoyed each course and never felt rushed. I had the fruit spring rolls with tamarind sauce, Tom Yum Soup, and spicy mango catfish. Everything was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Thank you Anna and Ari for your kindness and professionalism. We appreciated that. We will be back!

My review of Aqua Penny's is based around my experience during KC restaurant week, hence the $65 for a 4-course. My wait person, Sidney was top notch for recommendations, so prepare yourself to be enlightened. Aqua Penny's opened up a little over a year ago and the restaurant screams trendy, fun, and flavors to awaken the senses. The drink menu is hand crafted by the amazing mixologists who really know how to create a cocktail to smell and savor every sip. The Jade Temptation is a green, little herby, bright, with a little sweetness cocktail that almost says I am on vacation somewhere. This place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! The food is even better (hard to believe after seeing how pretty it is) but WOW. The lobster and catfish have our hearts completely. Request Devin as your waiter if you love someone who keeps it real while also offering you the BEST service around the KC area. He was so much fun! We will definitely be coming back!

What an unbelievable experience! My husband and I came in last night for dinner to celebrate Valentines Day early and our anniversary. From start to finish, this was an incredible evening. They had a special menu for the holiday weekend as well as a prefix! We ordered lobster rangoons for an app that were hot and delicious! The sauce it comes with though is the true star of the show. I need the recipe. Our server, Taylor made recommendations on my oyster selections and they were on par! She was very engaged despite having multiple tables. Our glasses were never empty and she seemed to be a lifelong pro. We came to find, she was NEW! I would’ve never known. Wow! This dinner experience was absolutely incredible from the second we walked in, until the second we walked out. The staff was beyond friendly! We went for my mom’s birthday, and they gave her a beautiful flower bouquet as a gift! So thoughtful! Our waiter, Garrick, was exceptional and truly made the night so memorable and fun! He gave EXCELLENT recommendations from drinks to apps to dinner and dessert. The drinks were incredibly crafted and unique. The apps were delicious! The dumplings were so good and we wanted to grab a straw for the leftover sauce! For dinner, each dish was so flavorful and the seafood was extremely fresh.
