Pancho's Villa Mexican Restaurant

Let's see, this places strength is the price for sure. Can comfortably eat well for 20$. However you get what you pay for I decided to get a quesidilla which was tolerable but little over priced for an appetizer. And my meal of an enchilada and chimichanga with rice n bean, Greta portion but the beef was just hamburger meat with great value taco seasoning as for my enchilada the chicken was bland and washed out flavor wise. The beans were nothing to write home about and the rice hard like it was made a few days ago. The short answer if your trying to each for cheap why not, if you have some more money to spend go somewhere else.

We came around 6pm, not too busy restaurant. I like the scampi shrimp with mexican rice. The atmosphere is sooooo mexico with the decoration and the dim yellow lights

Hands down best Margaritas I've had in anchorage. I did get top shelf liquor but there was almost a vanilla taste. So good! Based on the reviews I was hoping the food would be better...we didn't think the food was that great. But the Margaritas!

Read the reviews and was hopeful for a nice dinner. My husband and I ordered one chicken and beef burrito. The chicken was obviously canned, it was quite bland and still had the distinctive slimy texture and aftertaste found in a just cracked can. The ground beef tasted strongly of liver and was similarly unappealing. The rice and beans were nothing special. In all, not remotely worth the $43 total we spent. A shame because the building was very nicely decorated and the service was fast and friendly. Maybe their other food is worth the time and money, but I won't be finding out.

Excellent food, generous portions and great service. We had a terrific birthday dinner. 😊
