Paloma Azul

We tried Paloma Azul for Taco Tuesday and on a regular night. After spending every winter in Mexico, it was hard to call this authentic. Please know the staff and owners are amazing, but the ground beef, flour tortilla taco, and the fajitas that are pictured are nowhere near authentic. If we could take the owner and staff in as family, we would, but the food is American Mexican at best. Damnit, I wanted so badly for it to be up to par.

I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, come here.. Very good food!!! Very very good food! I have been craving Paloma Azul for the last 11 months, as i was out of state.. i am so happy they got a liquor license now too!! Yes!!!!!!!

Food is delicious! The fresas con crema was a wonderful strawberry crème dessert I tried for the first time! Lovely authentic Mexican food from a local small business!

Our group of 5 were excited to try this "Mexican Restaurant" in Bayview. Walking up the weather was wonderful so we chose to sit outside. We soon learned we needed to go inside to order at their counter. The atmosphere inside was like a cafeteria so we were glad we sat outside. The ladies working were wonderfully friendly, spoke broken English but they were fun and friendly. We had high hopes for the food we ordered. she said she would bring the food out to us and our beverages. All of us asked for water to drink as well. Our group were friends that get together every 2 weeks so we had a conversation going our drinks came in about 10 minutes but no water, she said that would be coming right out. About 20 minutes later our water had not been brought out, we went in and she apologize

Great Mexican food. Nice portions. Staff is friendly. We greatly enjoyed our meal. The tacos 🌮 are asada and had great flavor. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas poblano. We will be eating here again. The outside patio was nice with a cool breeze and view of the lake.
