Paleteria la tapatia

This spot is adorable. The colors are vibrant and has a very authentic feel. The woman who assisted me was incredibly sweet and helped me pick out something yummy. I ended up getting a Mangonada. I would have liked it a bit sweeter but it was still very good. I am looking forward to going back and trying other treats.

The ice cream was good, but the person who served us was rude and unpleasant. My family and I went in separately, and we all had the same impression. Besides, they're expensive: $9 and $8 each. I won't be going back; it's not worth coming all this way just to receive such poor service. I found a hair, and combined with my bad experience with the service, this is the last straw.

Very unassuming store, passed right by it and had to turn around. Inside is bright and colorful. Purchased a large aqua fresca (horchata), a mangonada, and a bionico. All were good, though you can prob find cheaper horchata elsewhere. Mangonada was interesting, came with a tajin(?) covered straw that had a texture of dried fruit. Tasted like chili dried gooseberries. Some of the mango chunks weren't the sweetest or softest, but was still tasty. Liked the bionico the best. The crema and banana made any fruit in there sweet. Greeted in Spanish upon entry, though we got by with English just fine. Workers were kind. Paid in cash, unsure if they take card.

Food was subpar and overpriced. The pictures pictures were taken once I was home. My 11 year old didn't like it at all. I tried not to waste all of my money but oh well. This was a Doritos dish with a lil bit of corn a tiny bit of mayo and some cilantro.

The corn is definitely not Mexican style lots of water left over as u can see in the picture u can’t taste the lemon cheese I paid $7 for nothing it was awful I have to give them a few stars because I’ve tasted the mangonado and it was good worth the price
