Palermo's Italian Restaurant

I ordered delivery late 9/1/25, the delivery was great, BUT.... I have taken photos of everything I got! It was disgusting! From rotten black pieces of lettuce, and there was dark purple colored greens but these were black and slimy pieces, then even the regular lettuce was black around edges, AND it is sitting all in a half of in of water, I believe, I hope.. The piece of Tiramisu that I paid nearly $9.00 for was a blob of melted something because it was put on top of the HOT entree..one can't even identify what it's supposed to be. It's still warm, the dessert. Then the bread, asked for dipping sauce on the side, it came with NOTHING, and it was raw in some of the corners, and soaked in oil, one could just squeeze it and out would come out of it, I tried one bite and it was raw. Had lunch here with a group recently. Bring your appetite for the stromboli (pictured) or the calzone. Plenty of leftovers! They have a nice bread to dip in herbed oil or marinara. Was a bit chilly so only four star for atmosphere.

Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The complimentary bread sticks w/Mariana sauce were very good! We got the spinach artichoke dip for the appetizer. Excellent! For the main course we got the pepperoni pizza (not your average pepperoni pizza) After they added their special touch. The texture and flavor was soooooo good! The Eggplant parma was amazing! One of the best I've had! We highly recommend this place to anyone who likes/loves Italian food!

My husband and I have been meaning to try this place since it opened, so we decided to treat ourselves to takeout a few weeks ago. Extremely disappointed! I phoned in my order because it was not at all apparent that I could use my gift certificate in ordering online (I still don't know if there was an option for that). The young lady who answered the phone was very nice, but not very knowledgeable. She mispronounced "Tuscan" and had no idea what cannoli was. She said that our food would be ready in a half hour. I arrived at the restaurant at 6;15, approximately 25 minutes after I placed the order. It took forever to pay for my food, since the cashier could not figure out how to ring my gift card. I would highly recommend Palermo's Italian restaurant in LaGrange KY. We had a funeral lunch for approximately 20 people. They were a pleasure to work with. Their service was over and beyond. They gave us free soft drinks for everyone. The food was fantastic. I would definitely dine there or plan a group party. My granddaughter has celiac disease and they were very accommodating with gluten-free options for her
