Palermo Bakery

I saw their bakery on Facebook and was astonished by the variety of packzi they sell, so I decided to head there asap! The inside looks so vintage, clean, and very organized. I got 4 types of packzi and every one of them were just delicious and out of this world. The nice young lady was very caring with my order and patient as well! Overall, I highly recommend visiting here and you wont be disappointed! They got a lot more to offer. Also, they take cash :)

Stopped in Palermo bakery Saturday morning. I wasn’t sure I was ever go back there. I was in there about two years ago and I had the worst experience with one of their workers. She was rude. She was ignorant. She just didn’t want to be bothered. But I have to say today was a complete turnaround. I had an awesome young woman take care of me. I ordered a slice of their sausage and giardiniera pizza Very good! I ordered two of their cannolis, a semolina baguette,Arancini (rice ball) the Arancini had a great taste, I like them a little more crispy on the outside they seemed a little mushy. they also had some amazing brownies in there, Oreo and cream and a caramel turtle. Palermo bakery has a lot of unique different items in their bakery from the focaccias, slices of pizza, Italian pastries. I’

My daughter brought a variety of packzi. They were absolutely delicious. Fresh, soft, and the flavors were original. They were some of the best packzi I've ever had. I live on the far SW side of Chicago. The bakeries near me are hard, cooked in oil that should have been changed and the same ordinary flavors. I look forward to trying other sweet treats from Palermo bakery.

We tried a plethora of things from Palermos. Unfortunately nothing truly stood out. Of the things we tried: *one pound of italian cookies The pine nut cookie was best received of the assortment we had. Some of these cookies were super soft and lacked a true cookie texture. *cheese danish. It was okay, and nothing against them, but in recent weeks I've had cheese danishes from 2 other bakeries that were superior to this one. *cheese/nutella stick. Thought it was a churro initially, probably wouldve been better if it was. Definitely needed to be filled a little more. *Arancini. Similarly to the danish, had one of these from another nearby bakery that was just superior and better filled. We also bought a foccacia round which was nice and easily the best thing we purchased. I tend to go on the weekends for the mini pastries, and it's always a pleasant experience. The pastries/cookies are ALL amazing! You can definitely tell the Italian authenticity in every single one! The employees are ALWAYS super nice, and ready to help! Awesome Place 👌
