Our new favorite restaurant! From the moment we walked in we were well taken care of. Unlike other local restaurants, Palace has an open and generous feel to it. The service was wonderful throughout and the overall experience was great. There is an extensive wine list and a cocktail menu with a variety of creative drinks. Chef Angel personally recommended the Hamachi Crudo and Chicken Liver Mousse appetizers and he didn’t steer us wrong. They were both fantastic! The Txuleta for Two was perfectly prepared and well seasoned. Amazingly we had room for dessert and the Chocolate Bottom Chess Pie provided a wonderful finish to our meal. We enjoyed the low key vibe and atmosphere. It’s rare to have an experience where the service, atmosphere and meal quality are all top notch.
Had the pleasure of going for my first time and let me tell you, it was worth it! Staff was super attentive, very knowledgeable and friendly.Greeyed us and started the night with complementary drinks. N/a for the wife which was nice they paid attention to detailed.Everything was done right and at a very satisfying time. Went for the birthday with the wife. We got a few appetizers, drinks (mocktails and wine) staff was very patient. Alot of wine and drink choices a separate section for mocktails which the wife loves. Food menu has a ton of options and we had the pleasure to try a few. Def recommend the steak tartare and the hamachi. Both are great mixes and work amazing. Wife did the poached pear, I had the steak tartare, oysters and 2 hamachis I believe they're called. So good I ordered a
4.5 stats. It's been a decade since we last ate at the Palace, but we wanted to try it again during Restaurant Week. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our meal, the ambience, and the superb service. Most items on the fixed menu can be ordered from the standard menu at any time; the Steak and Frites was apparently a special for restaurant week. We started off with Garlic Shrimp and the HUITLACOCHE TAMAL. Of the two, I thought the Shrimp was a better choice, but I wish it had more garlic (not really detectable), and I didn’t find any Neuske's bacon. But the shrimp was very good, and the creamy cheddar Parmesan polenta was outstanding. Huitlacoche Tamal was new for us. I looked it up on the site and read, “ Often referred to as 'Mexican truffles,' this earthy, smoky fungus is highly prized for i
What a fabulous place the dining room ambience is over the top fantastic really love the black walls. The black floor great lighting on the artwork and the colorful ceiling. Super cool. For those that want a little bit more color and brightness. The other dining room is just as nice But with lighter walls Decent wine List (for Santa Fe) all of our dishes were prepared perfectly and were quite yummy and tasty. The service starting at the host stand and into the dining room with our server was fantastic. Really professional well done, with just the right amount of chattiness
We had a fantastic experience here last night. We sat at the bar, and Angelo absolutely crushed it! He made us some incredible drinks and was fun, attentive, and clearly knows his craft. It set the tone for the whole evening. Lilly Anne was our server and took great care of us as well. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced everything. Food-wise, we ordered the tuna carpaccio, hamachi crisp, beef tartare, and the garlic shrimp, and every single one of those dishes was outstanding. Fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The garlic shrimp in particular was a standout. We also tried the tamal, which was the only miss for us-we wouldn’t order that one again, but honestly, everything else more than made up for it. Amazing drinks, excellent service, and some trul
