Palace Restaurant

I have been coming to the palace my whole life. This is such a great place for breakfast in Monroe. On this visit, we were able to sit anywhere we wanted to when we walked in. We were quickly greeted and our orders were taken. This time, I ordered the veggie omelette, which has tomatoes, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. I had that with a side of hasnrowns and butter toast. The omelette was great and very big. I like the hashbrowns, they were cooked just right. I do wish they brought out real butter from the kitchen. Our server was nice and attentive to our meal. This is a must-visit restaurant in Monroe.

This place has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes every visit memorable. The team creates a friendly experience that keeps me coming back, and I love introducing friends and family to the comforting Southern, home-style flavors. From the food to the service, everything feels thoughtfully done and truly exceptional.

Yesterday we finally tried the restaurant Palace. Honestly, from the outside it doesn’t look very impressive, and we had passed by many times. But we were pleasantly surprised! Inside it’s super clean (even the kitchen is visible and spotless), and the atmosphere is cozy. We ordered fish and chips to go, and the food was really tasty. While waiting, we noticed lots of people coming in—many seemed to be regulars, which says a lot. We’re planning to come back for breakfast and dine in. If you’re looking for a nice place with good food and a welcoming vibe, I’d recommend giving Palace a try!

Nice breakfast, a LOT of food. The sausage gravy is great, not bland like most places and not super thick. Chicken fried steak has good flavor and seasoning. Scrambled eggs are nice and fluffy for being fried flat. Huge biscuits and you get two. Only weak spot is the coffee which is not very strong.

Everything was wonderful! Haven’t eaten there in years! We had been at the hospital all day with a family member and on the way home we stopped! We had forgotten how good it was! Thanks for everything. Everyone was so nice!
