Outsiders On Main

Traveled from out of town. Open on Sunday. Was recommended by the front desk of our hotel. The waitress was nice, and the KC game was on. The food was bland, and the steak was tough. The hamburger was smaller than expected. It was better than fast food. Might have been an off night or what we ordered. Three bar had beer and hard liquor. No processco and menu.

Seems to be no consistency between certain times of day. I came for lunch a few days ago and had a delicious Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was so good I was craving another one. Wife and I came for dinner on Saturday night and we both ordered the NH chicken sandwich. What we got was sad. At least the fries are good. Came excited, left disappointed.

I’ve never experienced service like I did today. Our waitress would come stand at our table and stare at us without speaking or asking if we needed anything. When I asked if she was waiting to take our order, she shrugged and walked away. The food was also disappointing. My pulled pork was cold and the bread was soggy. The French fries were okay—not awful, but nothing special either. My husband’s burger was also served cold. After our food was delivered, the waitress never checked on us even once. Overall, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.

Stellar service! Haven't had a dish yet that we didn't like. And, Tommy at the bar is very professional and a true delight! Their team works hard to make sure you have a great experience.

Was passing through town and hungry. Wanted to find a local restaurant not an Arby’s, Taco Jones or McDonald’s. Passed all those joints and ventured downtown and stopped at Outsiders. Ordered the classic w/bacon and it was one of the best burgers I have had for a long time. I came a little before lunch and as it got close to noon the place filled up and no wonder!!
