OuterSpace

This place is a slice of Hippie Heaven with a serious BBQ option. PERFECT! The unconventional layout replete with a psychedelic school bus and small stage harkens back to the daze when real hippies roamed the earth. The food is fresh, well prepared with ample portions. Best of all this place reminds of my day's touring with the Grateful Dead and communing with fellow misfits in all manners of adventure and merriment! Thank you OuterSpace!!

We parked near here and toured Floyd before deciding to return for lunch. So glad we did. We would usually do a split for lunch, and the portions are plenty to do a split, but the menu was just too interesting. So she had Grown-up Grilled Cheese, and I had the Breakfast Burrito with sweet potato mash and spinach. They were both wonderful, and too big for one person to finish. Very reasonable price for what we had. Menu variety made hard choices. Atmosphere is crazy, like a picnic in outer space. So glad our campground recommended we take the time to visit Floyd!

Wow! what a cool place with amazing nachos. I mean a heap of nachos to say the least. We came to Floyd Va. to hear friends place at Outerspace & loved the eclectic, artsy place. 2 amazing cats walk around outside that are really sweet if you need a cat fix! Worth the 2 hour drive to such yummy vegetarian food but if you want barbecue that is also available at another restaurant (food truck)

I had my eye on this spot knowing we’d be traveling to Floyd this weekend. They just reopened for the season on Friday! We got lucky. It was everything I was hoping for. Beautiful outdoor space with other covered areas. Delicious food and friendly folks.

Burrito bowls rock! I'm partial to the Mexican bowl - I can never finish it but it's delicious. Friendly people and a black cat welcome you. Excellent all around
