Oscars Fresh Mex

Oscar’s Fresh Mex is a legit taco spot and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for something fast, flavorful, and satisfying. I tried the carne asada taco, carnitas taco, and the three rolled beef tacos. The carne asada was the star of the show—super flavorful, juicy, and just overall delicious. The carnitas taco was also very good, just not quite as mind-blowing as the carne asada. The rolled tacos (taquito-style) were crunchy, topped with shredded lettuce and guac, and really hit the spot, especially after a quick trip to the salsa bar. Speaking of the salsa bar—that’s a big plus. Multiple salsas, so you can tweak the heat and flavor to your liking. Some of the food really pops once you add the right salsa. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the special for Wednesday. It was a very welcoming and family feeling eating here. 3 Stars- The asada taco and fish taco were simply okay. The asada had almost no flavor or seasoning. The ingredients all tasted good and had good flavor. I would have liked more of a char on the asada as well. The fish was nicely fried, good ingredients again, but nothing special. 4 Stars - the birria taco was great. Crispy and packed with flavor. I would just get three of these! The bean and cheese burrito was not next level, but, the size was crazy and only for $1.99 on Wednesdays! Chips and salsa bar is self serve which is pretty neat too. Love that this place opened up. And it’s nice it’s part of the Rosie restaurants. Wish they had other options for the rolled tacos but they were still delicious. The beef tacos were well seasoned and had a good portion of meat in them. Maybe make the “hot” salsa hotter? Would love to have some spice for my food. But overall would recommend very delicious.

We ordered 2 of the 4 tacos deals for less than $10.00 dollars each, I think these are very good tacos and come with all the fixings, it also comes with 2 drinks. The Carna Asada and Chicken Tacos were the ones we ordered. 10 out of 10 in my book.

Went on a lunch date with my husband. We munched on the delicious salsas and chips whilst waiting for our food. All I can say is the tacos are good, their birria being the absolutely best. So delicious with $5 per taco I was enjoying it like it was candy!
