Customer Reviews
The noodle soup wasn’t very good. When it was time to pay, they held up their tablets but wouldn’t let me see the bill. Instead, they told me orally how much I needed to pay, without mentioning the service charge. However, they did explicitly remind me that I had to give a 15% tip. I did as they asked and then requested a receipt, only to find that it listed just two bowls of noodles. They had already charged a service fee and now were also asking for a tip, which I found unreasonable. I won’t visit there again in the future, and I must make everyone aware of this. They are not honest or transparent in the way they charge the service fee.
I had an amazing experience at Orochon Ramen. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a lively vibe. The ramen is delicious, with a broth that is rich, savory, and packed with flavor. The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the toppings are fresh and generous. Service was excellent; the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The portion sizes are very satisfying, making it worth the visit. Orochon Ramen is definitely one of my favorite ramen spots in LA, and I will be coming back again soon.
Got the miso ramen. broth was not rich, more of a watered down version. The pork they use is not chasu, which is clearly stated in the menu…just not great tasting though. Surprised by all the high star reviews which was what lured me in.
I absolutely love this place! The food is always good, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is just so nice and relaxing. This has become a top spot I go to for ramen. I've had other items on the menu which are good but I personally love their ramen. The ramen serving size is big and definitely worth your money! It leaves you wanting to come back and eat there again! I have order Ramen to go and the portion size is still big! When extra toppings or add on are asked, they don't hold back either. I've witnessed a customer unsure of the spice level for the ramen and the waitress was sweet to offer the customer to try a level the she was interested in and if she'd like to go a level up or down they would gladly add or change the ramen for her (free of charge or additional charges). There’s no reason why I should be able to taste the tap water in my soup! The waiters are chill tho but man, the hype is fake. The fried rice had minimal flavor the gyozas were alright. The spicy edamame was the only redeeming factor. Idk tho I may be tripping
