Bond Appetito

We celebrated a birthday at Bond Appetito Supper Club in Hollywood and had a fantastic experience. We did the “Across Five Continents” dinner, and it was one of those meals where every course was excellent. The flavors were great a lot of thought went into the progression of the menu. Each dish had a story and a purpose. What really made the night special though were the hosts. They were warm, engaging, and genuinely cared that everyone was having a great time. It felt less like going out to a restaurant and more like being invited into someone’s home for a beautifully curated dinner party. Richard is a great host and story teller. Dinner at Richard and Francesco's place felt like stumbling into a dinner party you secretly wish all dinner parties were like. Richard somehow makes food that's both artful and comforting -- the kind where you stop mid-sentence because your taste buds are having a moment. Every dish has its own little personality, and the table setup makes you want to take a photo and immediately eat everything. Francesco brings this zen-calm energy that balances out the excitement of the food -- he's basically the human version of "it's all good." By the end of the night, everyone was laughing, swapping stories, and forgetting what time it was. I had an incredible experience at Bond Appetito. I attended their Kashmir to Kanyakumari dinner, and the food was truly exceptional—each dish was prepared with care and bursting with flavor. What made the evening even more memorable was the storytelling woven throughout the meal, sharing the history, culture, and origins of the dishes across India. This was so much more than dining at a typical restaurant. It felt intimate, immersive, and full of heart—a chance to connect not just with food, but with the stories and traditions behind it.
