Oriental Deli & Subs

Heard great reviews from the locals and looked at the website pictures. I bought 2 sub sandwiches of the same: ham, turkey, roast beef, lettuce, tomato, onion. Brought it back to the rental and was disappointed. Our sub had what looked like one slice of ham, turkey and barely a slice RB, barely paper thin onions and a 2”x2” piece of lettuce. Eating it, all we tasted was bread. Very disappointed but didn’t have the energy to drive back and ask they be replaced. I included 3 pictures, 2 from their website and one I took of sub. You be the judge. We’ll be back to Oriental and I may try again, but I’ll unwrap the sandwiches there at the counter to check them before I leave to bring home.

We had the reuben, tuna salad, and meatball subs. All were excellent. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was prepared quickly, will eat here again if I’m ever in the area.

The owner was super friendly and i was excited to visit this shop with my husband. I ordered the veggie sandwhich described as having fresh mozzarella... fresh mozzarella, in your mind doyou envision a slice of mozz? Yes me also! Shredded cheese. 2 pieces of lettuce. Where are the veggies? My husband ordered turkey. It was fine but again falls short of a sub which to me is a hoagies and contains something to bite into and taste! I just had a primo veggie sandwhich last week! 1 sandwhich is 2 meals for me because they actually contain vegetables as listed in the description.....

I've only ate there 5 or 6 times every time was very consistent.Whatever you order, they are very skimpy.On the meat trying to save a nickel in every corner , they can...... Once I found out that the owner keeps A third of the tips for himself instead of diving it up between the employees.I boycotted it.... It's one thing to try to save a dollar and cut a corner on the food although that will hurt you too. But it's a different level when you're taking tip money from your employees...... There are plenty of other places to dine other than this nickel and dime pop shop.... Well, that's my review.

This place has a lot going on to be a small restaurant. Catering, great food, local hangout table, and a great overall atmosphere. From the smile entering the door this is a very welcoming place. Very pleased and food was great.
