Open Season Sports Bar & Grill

The entire time we were at Open Season Sports Bar & Grill, we kept saying how badly Little Rock needs a place like this. It’s pure country—deer mounts, ducks on the walls, and that old-school Southern feel that immediately puts you at ease. The food fit the vibe perfectly: chicken-fried chicken, fried tenders, burgers, beef steak, and an amazing spinach and artichoke dip served warm in a bread bowl with homemade chips. Straight-up comfort food, done right. Everyone in the place—except us—was in camouflage, which somehow made it feel even more like home. It didn’t feel touristy or staged. It felt real. What really surprised us was the back side of the restaurant. You’d never know it was there, but it opens into a bar—and it was packed late. We arrived just before closing, and the hostesses

Great food!! Our table had the Trio Dip, Corn Dip, Frued Chicken Sandwich w Sweet Potato Fries, Mushroom Swiss Burger w Onion Rings, and the Catfish Dinner. Would get everything again except the corn dip. Fantastic food!

We waited over an hour and a half for our food. During that time the waitress only checked on us twice. When we mentioned it to her she immediately got defensive never apologized for our wait. We received cold food and then she wouldn't get a manger she add the tip to our bill and charge us for extra sauce and water Then she had the audacity to start putting down one of the outher guy at the table that had left already do not spend your time and money at this place it's an absolute joke o and she singed my recipe for my credit card. Don't waste your time and money.

Ate there two nights ago. Had the hamburger steak and was very good. Second time I had ribeye steak and it was a little over seasoned and the baked potato was overcooked. I believe it had been reheated for the day. I was going to have a cocktail but was told there is a ten dollar fee for you to be able to get mixed drinks. Not sure if that’s a Stuttguart fee or what? I have had drinks in other places in the state without paying that

Was only in town for 2 days and ate here both days. The bologna was mouthwatering. The fish was amazing as well. I got the “Tour of the pond” and the blackened catfish was the best in my opinion. I also orders some spicy cheese bites. THEY.ARE.SPICY. The menu does not lie.
