One Love Island Cuisine

First time walking into this spot, and let me just say—what an experience! I came in to try the oxtails, and they did not disappoint. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, flavorful, and not overly fatty. Paired with the Jamaican rice, which was soft and fluffy, it was perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff shows true hospitality, making you feel right at home. I also tried one of their Jamaican drinks—refreshing and packed with flavor, definitely a must-have! The empanadas with spiced meat had just the right kick to balance everything out. If I had one small critique, it would be the plantains—I think if they made them fresh to order, it would take them to the next level. Overall though, this place is a gem in Oceanside. We loved the food, the super-friendly staff, and the fun Island vibe of this adorable restaurant. We are huge fans of Jamaican food and enjoyed the authentic flavors of classics like jerk chicken, chicken curry, collard greens, and rice and ‘peas’! We will be back :)

I felt the LOVE. Thank you for the delicious food. Someone in the kitchen loves me. I went there every day for my OMAD and Ital diets while on vacation in Oceanside. Husband joined me a few days later. We ate and had a great time. Thanks again. All you vegans out there and germ phobes, there is a place for us at One Love. Try it for yourself and see.

The Food was fire! Coming back again for round 2! Taste just like my abuelas food! Worth the drive!
