Little Fox Cups + Cones

This cozy place was recommended by one of my cousins. Their service was excellent, and we had a great time. We tried their Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Poco Pomodoro, and Ca Apple Rhône. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was fresh, soothing, and had a perfect buttery caramel flavor. The Poco Pomodoro was interesting with a strong hint of basil and apple flavor. It was more savory than sweet. The Ca Apple Rhône had a strong cinnamon hint. All three were fresh and refreshing, and their waffle was great. Oh. My. God. The ice cream here is truly artisan, the flavors are unlike any I’ve seen! The “principal trunch-bowl” was outta this world and the “so doughp” was perfection! Complex, layered flavors to die for. And the shop is adorable with cute little cards and odds and ends for purchase - and free stickers!

First of all the name is adorable. “Little Fox” already gives you cozy, cute, welcoming vibes, and the moment you arrive, it’s exactly that and more. The location is precious, the outside entrance is warm and inviting, and I loved the bench and umbrella setup perfect for sitting and savoring your ice cream. If you’re someone who appreciates attention to detail, you will absolutely fall in love with this place. From the golden spoons they offer for samples (yes, they actually let you try flavors and happily!) to the beautiful waffle cones made right in front of you, everything here feels intentional and thoughtfully done. Alex was an absolute sweetheart friendly, patient, and kind while letting me sample flavors. That alone says a lot, because there’s nothing more awkward than being rush

Cute little shop in Oceanside, just a block off the main drag. It smells DELICIOUS as soon as you walk inside. I personally found the menu overwhelming, but it is definitely unique and will test the limits of new and exciting flavor combinations. They are very generous with sampling and you’re welcome to try multiple flavors. I went safe with a mostly coffee variety—-predictable but still delicious =)

I loved the vibe, and the staff were nice! ☺️ I got the horchata and the Spring Fling. Unfortunately, the waffle cone didn’t hold up. It broke not even 10 minutes after I got it, so I didn’t really get to savor the flavors 😔
