On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

We went to On The Border yesterday to catch some lunch. All the food was absolutely delicious with great portion sizes. We ordered the honey chipotle shrimp tacos, the crispy fish tacos, and a chicken quesadilla kids meal. Beth, our server, was 10/10! Great conversation and amazing service. We will definitely be returning again!

The food here was unfortunately some of the worst Mexican cuisine I've had. The rice was parched, the beans tasted scorched, and the enchiladas were covered in a heavy, greasy canned-style chili. Even the tortilla soup had odd ingredients like eggplant and squash that didn't belong. It’s a shame because the salsa was delicious and our server was absolute perfection. Great staff, but the kitchen needs a serious overhaul.

Food was hot fresh and tasty. Had the shrimp and chicken fajitas for two and loved it. Zack’s service was top shelf - first time there but will absolutely be going back!

The memu has changed and they have take all the good dishes off the menu. The food come out loaded with onions. They have changed the margarita mix and the margaritas taste bad. Total disappointment use to go here and it was a great place.

Been over 20 years since I have been here, and it reminded me of when I was kid going with my parents. Food was great and just as tasty as I remembered. Price wasnt bad, 2 people 1 draft, 1 frozen cocktail, 2 dinner entrees, and an appetizer, roughly $50 and a $20 tip, almost can't eat a fast food for that anymore. Quiet atmosphere great place to hold a conversation, we were even there during happy hour. Very happy and can't wait to return!
