Omar's Grill

A new friend and co-worker brought me here after work. I have to say I was completely surprised. The veggies that came on my burger were really fresh and the lettuce had the perfect crisp and crunch. I have to say I have found a new favorite spot to hit when I'm working in the area. I will definitely be back! *Edit* I forgot to mention the gentleman who served me was extremely kind and made me feel as welcomed as if I were a regular! With the taste of the food, and the exceptionally kind service, I will like to become a regular!

100% recommend this restaurant. The staff is friendly and the menu has a variety of food to choose from. I got their Gyro, humus and a baklava. So good! The flavors are perfect. This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for service Omar's Grill 😍🤤

Delivery - got the wings and catfish combo w/ zucchini sticks. Really great! Catfish was excellent, one piece was kinda greasy on bottom. Zucchini was really good quality. Chicken was good, although the "original" flavor isn't very spicy if that's what you want; light seasoning. Better than any I had at home in Springfield! They have an AWESOME soda selection which, sadly, is just "can of soda" if you're ordering online. Premium cans of craft sodas that really make dinner a treat!

The portion size was good, the staff is nice, but the issue I had was the wings had no seasoning on the meat or in the flour, and the oil tasted a lil burnt, they sprinkled some type of seasoning in the box as they were handing it to me and that was the only flavor it had other than burnt oil.

They do NOT offer military discount. This is definitely a takeout restaurant. There is some booths and some seating. But I would definitely grab food and go. There's just not enough indoor space, if they are crowded. As for the food, the food was pleasant. It was cooked well. And my dish was very hot by the time I got it home. They wrapped the food in a tin foil, which I find to be perfect for taking your food home or on the go. It definitely kept my food nice and hot. If you get fries make sure you add lemon pepper to the fries. There's a few restaurants that do this with lemon pepper on the fries. If you've never tried it I suggest you ask them to put it on. They're soda selection that they have is pretty good. No name brand sodas or anything. But you can get a flavor I'm sure you'd like
