Olsen's Danish Village Bakery

Absolutely loved our stop at The Danish Bakery 🥐☕️ We had a mocha and chamomile tea with the Copenhagen Kiss and a chocolate custard puff. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and so comforting. Great pastries, and a must-visit when you’re in Solvang.

The baked goods are delicious! We enjoyed the different types of pastries they sell. I feel like the prices are a bit high but totally worth it, to treat yourself to their amazing breads, cookies and pastries.

We went here on a crowded long weekend; there was a bit of a line. But we found tables inside and received our orders fairly quickly. The baked goods are delicious; we also bought the butter cookies. Definitely worth a stop. The coffee here was disappointing, I took a simple cappuccino and felt like I only drank foam.

My husband and I tried all the best reviewed bakeries in town and this one was not as great as we hoped. It’s definitely got some nice items and a large selection, but the quality was underwhelming. It didn’t taste too great and the tables were all really dirty. Everything was really expensive. I got a whipped cream thing super light get it was almost $8. It looked amazing but it just wasn’t what we’d hoped for.

I wanted one of of everything but then stumbled upon their gift shop and walked out with a cute purse instead of a calorie filled danish. Price-wise a $59 purse purchase was more profitable than a $5 danish but I was so pleased I completely forgot to go back for a danish.
