This is my favorite spot in Solvang. Sausage and beer is the perfect example of how less is more. They’ve turned simple ingredients into something very enjoyable. I’m not a big fan of beer but this right here (Stiegl Grapefruit Radler) i can easily drink it and actually enjoy it! My family also loved it. Will definitely come back to Solvang for this spot!
This was the second time I've stopped by the Copenhagen Sausage Garden for dinner. Both of them were around the Christmas season to visit Solvang. I came here with different people or else I probably would have chosen somewhere else to eat because I feel like this is one of those places that you go to try once and then you don’t have to return. The seating is outdoors and there are no heating lamps which is for the better because it causes people to leave when they're finished with their meal. Both of the times I got the sausage sampler and depending on the time you come they may run out of some of the sausages. The sampler doesn’t come with any bread so both of the times we ordered some bread. On my most recent visit I also got the potato salad and it’s a bit too sour for my liking. The
Fantastic food. Bit of a line but moved along very quickly. The sausages were fantastic and they have a decent selection of sauces to enjoy as well. Beer was good and outside seeting was nice and clean.
We ordered the bratwurst and andoullie sausages with onion rings. The flavors were good but the casings were too tough to chew, which indicated the sausages were old and reheated. The onion rings were cold when they reached our table. The beer/cider selection is good. Great variety of mustards and sauces. Overall, at this time, not worth the long lines.
Nicely flavored sausages with a great variety to pick from. The beer wasn't as cold as I'd like it, and overall was on the pricier side, but worth it for this little slice of Germany. The curry sausage was delicious! The lines get very long but it does move at a good pace, and you can't sit until you order.
