Ollie's Bar and Grill

Ollie's is a great new addition to the village of Schuylerville. It is a veteran-owned pub serving delicious food with a variety of daily specials that round out the regular menu nicely. There were several, so I don't remember them all, but I know there was a pizza log and a couple of kinds of quesadillas, plus Monday night football beer specials. I was there early on Monday, long before the dinner rush, although I did see others starting to trickle in as our table was finishing up. The staff were all very pleasant and checked on us often for drink refills both before and after our food came. The food itself was delicious! I don't often order an appetizer, knowing it means I can't finish my meal, but we split up an order of cheese fries that were a definite repeat. Nothing fancy, but the

Burgers and fries. Average food. Good cocktails. Friendly staff. Small but pleasant dining room. Could have used a few extra staff, but they worked hard to give us good service.

While we didn't get a chance to eat here, it sports a hometown pub vibe. I wanted onion rings, sadly they use the same fryer for their fried fish, French fries and onion rings.

Service is usually great here. Took forever to get our food. One waitress was on her phone. Either talking on it or texting on it. Thankfully it was not our waitress

I waited too long to try Ollie’s! I was craving corned beef and cabbage tonight so decided to give them a shot and wow….highly recommend! Let’s make sure we give them some support and keep this amazing business around!
