Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

As an American who hasn't had the luxury of visiting Italy and having the most authentic of pasta dishes, Olive Garden is my paradise for what my standard considers quality Italian meals. Every time I go, I never leave disappointed. When I see that sign and the rocky exterior wall, I feel comforted knowing I'm about to eat myself into a worthwhile food coma. The aesthetics of the restaurant make it seem somewhat upscale in comparison to other locations, despite the food not being any fancier and the prices not being that unusually high. When I go to Denny's or Red Robin, it feels like a casual day out. When I go to Olive Garden, it feels like an occasion even when it's not. Our server was excellent and kept our drinks topped off and the food was brought out promptly and was served up to us hot,fresh and tasty. Definitely made our visit very lay back and a nice enjoyable ambiance. Will definitely stop in soon!

Everything tastes the same. No matter what you order it all tastes the same. The Alfredo is watery. Clearly it's not made with heavy cream, butter, and Parm cheese. I really wish they would cook the pasta in salted water (they don't) thus even then pasta is bland. Typical, perfect portioned chicken breast strips tells me it's already precooked. Nothing unique or original. Just bland, over priced, pre cooked food. Really disappointing.
