Our visit to Olio in Dade City was a truly magnificent experience. The Fig Flatbread I had was exceptional, featuring sweet figs, savory prosciutto, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze - it was outstanding. We arrived at 2 pm, just before they closed at 2:30 pm to prepare for dinner service, and enjoyed a more peaceful atmosphere, having missed the lunch rush. Our waiter, Spencer, was amazing, providing us with excellent recommendations. Tim's Purse Pasta Skillet was equally impressive, consisting of mascarpone and goat cheese stuffed pasta purses in a creamy cognac sauce with fresh herbs - a truly epic dish. Dinner at Olio was an absolute treat. The burrata was a wonderful start, fresh and flavorful, and the sacchetti pasta was rich, decadent, and completely satisfying. The true showstopper, though, was the lamb loin chops — like tiny T-bones, perfectly cooked and unbelievably delicious. Service was excellent and our server Eddie was incredible and made the whole experience feel special. This place is truly a gem and a must-visit in Dade City.
1st time here and the food was just ok. Very bland and tasteless. The sauce was a major disappointment, the taste was just not good. I don't know exactly what was missing, maybe more salt and seasoning. I was a little disappointed! Cute place, love my Dade City though! Service was great and the martini was delicious! Not sure if I'd go back.
Great atmosphere and service. Our server, Gabi, took the time to explain the menu and make great recommendations. If you love pasta like me and want to remember some Italian flavors, you must go to Olio, a small place with great food, and don't leave without trying their spaghetti ice cream!
We travel to Dade City occasionally, and this was the first time we dined at Olio. And after this wonderful experience, we will travel to Dade City just to go to this restaurant. Everything was wonderful. Italian music played in the restaurant, and it made us feel like we were in Italy. Large servings on everything including appetizers through the desserts. Our server was Spencer and he was very professional and on target for meeting our needs. Spencer give a good definition of ingredients and the items on the menu to help us choose since this was our first time. Also the hostess kept our water glasses filled and was very nice. Five star rating all along.
