Old World Pizza in Elmwood Park is mostly a take-out spot, but they do have a few tables available if you want to dine in. We started off with the Combo Platter, which came loaded with fried mushrooms, zucchini, onion rings, cheese sticks, fries, and garlic bread – definitely a lot to share. For mains, we tried the lasagna, eggplant parmesan, and a few pizzas – a small cheese, a veggie thin crust, and a veggie deep dish. The portions were huge and they don’t skimp on toppings. My favorite dish of the night was the eggplant parmesan, it was so delicious! Also, got the cheesecake and brownie for desserts! The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience better. If you’re looking for generous portions and a classic neighborhood pizza spot, Old Wor

I finally made it here after hearing so many good things and all I can say is WOW! The pizza is out of this world good. We got this crust old world pizza special and added black olives. It was loaded with the toppings. I’m a pepperoni snob and I loved it. It was thin and crispy with just the right amount of spice. Also I never like sausage on my pizza but this sausage was actually really good. Not too clumpy or overpowering. We kept commenting on how impressed we were with the entire pizza. It’s a little hard to find because it’s tucked away in a strip mall type area. The interior is sparse and pretty blah. It seems like mostly a takeout spot but does have four tables if you want to dine in but be aware THE IS NO REST ROOM! It’s counter service and the staff was super nice.

Wanted to check out a new place so we ordered a pizza for delivery per our pizza and NFL Sunday ritual. This was hands down the worst STUFFED pizza I’ve ever eaten. It seemed like they made a regular thin crust pizza and slapped another layer of thinner crust on top. It was difficult to cut through the bottom layer of crust with a steak knife because it was so hard, the sauce was sweet without any other flavor, the cheese was rubbery, and the sausage had no spice (fennel was not present at all).

This ain’t your fancy downtown slice spot—Old World’s been holding it down for the neighborhood with thin-crust pies that snap when you fold ’em. Toppings are generous, the sauce is on point, and the crust’s got that old-school crunch that proves they’ve been at it for years. The vibe’s easygoing—no frills, just straight-up good pizza. Specials pop up often, and the crew keeps things moving while still treating you like family. Around here, it’s more than just a pizza joint—it’s the kind of place that feels like home, whether you’re a regular or grabbing your very first slice.

This place is an awesome local spot slightly tucjed away. Tried the double decker pizza and it was amazing with both fresh, ample toppings (see pic) and not too breast. The thin crust which I also tried was light and crispy.
