Old Towne Restaurant

Today I want to share my experience of the salad pizza I ordered at this restaurant. Believe me, this is the most delicious salad pizza I have ever had! The crust is absolutely amazing — it tastes like they add ricotta or some kind of soft cheese to the dough, and there is even more cheese on top. It’s incredibly delicious! And the salad is not just simple lettuce and vegetables — it’s a full, well-dressed salad with great flavor. I live in Norwalk, but whenever I’m in Trumbull, I always make sure to order this pizza. Thank you — it is absolutely delicious!

This spot is right inside the plaza where stop and shop is. Has plenty of parking. The inside has definitely changed a lot since my last visit as far as lighting goes, last time I was inside it looked really dark but not the dining area is very bright now which is great. The food never disappoints either. I always try to stop in here every now & then after my appointment after I visit my doctor especially in the morning. The food is great as well as the staff too. It’s definitely a vibe like a diner, you can sit anywhere & someone will be right with you.

Ate here yesterday as part of a private party. Quick, friendly service, excellent food quality and portion size, owner was present on site and checked on our group from time to time. The eggplant rotini was excellent - it looked heavy but ended up being perfect. Others had the chicken and stuffed sole and were also very positive. Nice ambience.

Old Towne makes throwing a party so easy, we use them for all of our catering needs and pick up a pizza every Friday too! Their pepper and onion pizza is so good! Everyone loves the salmon piccata from the catering menu too, we always grab a tray for a party!

I got the chicken piccata for dinner and when i cut into it, it was still pink so i sent it back. Our waiter and the host told me it'll be a couple minutes and they were making a fresh one. But when they returned the play it was the same exact piece of chicken, just cooked for a little longer, which is a food violation. The sauce was also slimy and gooey like it wasn’t fresh and there was egg around the chicken from when it was battered but it made scrambled eggs on the chicken.. I lost my appetite. And they still charged us for it. However, the waiter was great and he was helpful. But that chef needs to be retrained or something. We won’t be eating here again.
