Franco Gianni's Restaurant & Pizza

Just a terrible experience truly. I believe I made a pretty simple order, an order most pizza places see on a day to day basis, just a pepperoni with bacon pizza. I paid for both toppings and the pizza and to my surprise when I got home, there was no bacon on my pizza. The same bacon that I had paid for at the restaurant, was no where to be seen. The box itself was marked with an x on the pepperoni and the bacon. So they knew that this specific pizza was designated to receive pepperoni AND bacon, and they still failed to live up to the expectation of adding bacon to my pizza. But they did not fail to charge me for said bacon. I am truly upset by today’s service from what was my favorite pizzeria in Trumbull. They need to do better.

No wait for seating. Little confusion with who got what salad. Companion ordered spicy shrimp with pasta. Shrimp and pasta came with spicy marinara sauce. My companion wanted the spicy on the shrimp on the shrimp only and regular sauce on the pasta. A d they were able to do that. I had the veal marsala with was excellent and my companion said she was very pleased with the spicy shrimp. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.

My brother and I had lunch. I had a meatball grinder, and he had sausage and mushrooms with a salad. My brother was impressed with the salad. Portions were generous, and the food was tasty. The most impressive part of lunch was the waitress. A college aged gal with a genuine smile who provided service appropriate for a much more expensive meal.

I have been a long time customer here. Ever since I was a little girl, I used to go with my family as a Sunday family dinner tradition. Now I get to enjoy their delicious food with my family. They never disappoint! Everyone is so friendly and inviting. Feels like home. Would recommend them over and over again.

We found this place traveling through Connecticut late in the evening. We were worried they were closing but they invited us in and we could not have been more surprised! The food was delicious! My wife enjoyed her sausage calzone, my daughter loved her cheese pizza and I was able to thoroughly enjoy a perfect anchovy pizza! Hard to come by! Yum! The wait staff was amazing and service was top notch! Go eat here! Now!
