Customer Reviews
Review from Canada! I was in town for a meeting. Old Sante Fe was close to the hotel I was staying at. Customer service is amazing. They really make you feel at home. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was really good. The chef has been creating these dishes for 22 years! If you’re in the area, you need to check this place out. I will be back the next time I come back!
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had was in Colorado, so walking into this place for the first time? Yeah… my expectations were sky-high. At first, I’ll admit it threw me off a little because it’s tucked into a strip mall — but listen… “don’t judge a book by its cover” has never been more accurate. Because once the food hit the table, I was officially humbled (and very happily so). I ordered the chicken street tacos with guacamole and chips, and my son went for the shrimp tacos. Let me tell you: everything was fresh, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. Like, “why didn’t I come here sooner?” satisfying. And it wasn’t just the food. The atmosphere was warm, the prices were super fair, and the owner personally greets you when you walk in — then continues checking in on every table
I can’t tell if this was an off-night for them. I told the server I was trying to avoid whole onions. He assured me my order didn’t have any. He was wrong. I pointed out the issue to him a couple of times after the order arrived and he made no effort to make it right, offer a discount, etc. The burritos were so soggy, they were dripping. They arrived lukewarm, so the cheese on top wasn’t able to melt. Rice was OK. Black beans were very good, fantastic flavor.
Tasteful food with portions that are filling. Food came out sizzling. Good service. There were a couple of large groups in the dining room.
We really enjoyed our experience here. Prices are very reasonable and food was excellent. We ended up ordering too much food because the portions were so big. Highly recommended. Order the molcajete with seafood. It is delicious.
