Old Man Rafferty’s

We enjoyed our family late lunch at Old Man Rafferty’s! Our servers were attentive and the quality of food was great. We tried a lot of different appetizers to share and everyone was satisfied. They have a solid drink menu with some rotating/seasonal drinks. I appreciate the solid variety of craft beer and have a lot of local NJ breweries. The bar is a great place to watch sports, but wouldn’t say it’s a “rowdy” sports bar crowd at all. If you’re looking for a quieter experience you can sit on the non bar side and it’s very relaxing and quiet.

Celebrated my birthday in there last week. The servers are accommodating and friendly. The ambiance is nice but it gets a little loud if you are seated on the bar with big tvs. The food is amazing especially their steak tacos. The cakes are delicious too. Highly recommended 👌

So I ordered from here 3 times . Twice from DD and once I decided to actually sit and eat. The food they give you in the resturaunt is pretty good. Both times I ordered from DD they gave me slop. I spent $50+ each time and my steak was over cooked every time dry with no flavor. potatoes, veggies and steak all put into one container. A pile of juices at the bottom of the container which caused the garlic potatoes to be so soggy they were falling apart on my fork... yeah definitley learned my lesson.

We used to be regular customers, going back at least 10+ years. The food used to be good. No more. This place is ripe for a Kitchen Nightmares appearance. Gordon Ramsay would have a FIT. The inside is drab and dreary, the tables are tiny, and the chairs are wobbly. It’s cold inside even after asking for it to be turned up. There was some horrendous music playing far too loudly. The place was EMPTY on a Friday night at 5pm. The average age of the clientele is senior citizen or close and it shows, NOTHING has any taste anymore. Firstly, the French fries. They used to be huge curly steak fries. Now they’re garbage frozen junk that’s overcooked. I had fish and chips, no flavor. The batter was okay. Another person in my party had chicken parmigiana. It was rubbery, overcooked and clearly mic

Their menu has a ton of options and you get a large portion of food for the price. The chicken parm sandwich was awesome and I really liked the dark side of the moon desert to finish the meal. Friendly service, lots of parking, and great food.
