Old Dominion Doggery & Burger Shoppe

Lots of good to choose from. Come hungry big portions. Fries were great but planning on getting toppings next time. Place is small but worth the wait if there is one. Has a bar area to sit at. Will be back to try other items. Was a bit noisy but mood was good.

ODD is so good! Their burgers are amazing — juicy, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The fries are fresh-cut and thicker than your average French fry. Normally I wouldn’t go for a larger fry, but dipped in their homemade ranch? That’s where it’s at! I’ve ordered from them for lunch a few times, and it’s always ready quickly. The service is great, and the owner always greets you with a smile. Definitely a local favorite!

I love a dog shop with a wide variety of specialty dogs. So it was quite a pleasant surprise to find the Doggery while fishing and camping nearby. Besides the dozen or so chef curated dogs, there is an extensive build your own section as well so there’s something for everyone. The Chesapeake dog and Reuben dog were both fantastic. My brother built his own dogs but also had good things to say. Split top buns that are toasted is a pro move. If I had to nitpick, the fries are thick cut and weren’t super crispy but not a deal breaker. I’ll opt for onion rings on the next go around. The burgers seem to get great reviews too so we’ll definitely be back to try those out as well.

My husband and I came here on a whim while starving and needing sustenance. I've been in the service industry for 20 years and have seen it all. I'm super picky about where I eat due to my own personal expectations of service, food quality etc. All that aside. I literally did not take one picture of all the things we ate because it was not only amazing food, but I was watching the beautiful operation the whole time(I cant help it) Seeing our server/bartender Kara (hope I got that right) run around that place flawlessly, with a smile on her face, and with excellent customer service (the communication between employees the midfulness of FOH staff was literally beautiful to watch)....you just KNOW that place gives so many efffs about their customers and the products and experience they are pr

Wowww!! This place is awesome!!! We had the fried pickles, the Mushroom and Swiss burger with homemade chips and the New Yorker Hot dog with sweet potato fries. The place is immaculate and staff is very friendly and helpful!!! We would almost drive back from RVA to visit again! We will be back!!!
