Customer Reviews
From the phone call to make our reservation until we completed our meal, every moment was a most pleasant experience. Our dinner choices of prime rib and pork shanks were delicious including the side veggies, salad and the amazing mushroom soup. We felt that we were meant to be there.
Food was excellent and the atmosphere made the place! Waitresses were great and staff very nice. The food took quite a while though and the overall dining experience was roughly 2 1/2 hours. Overall, great place to come check out.
We had a reservation for five at the Old Colonial Inn this past Friday, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere has that classic, comfortable charm you hope for in a place like this, and the service was warm, attentive, and right on point. The food was the real highlight of the night. Our group ordered a mix of steaks and prime rib, and every single plate was spot-on. The steaks were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and exactly to temperature—while the prime rib was juicy and rich without being heavy. You can tell they take pride in how they prepare their meals. It’s not often a whole table is unanimously impressed, but Old Colonial Inn pulled it off. Great food, great service, and a great night overall. We’ll definitely be back!
The Old Colonial Inn is a very nice little restaurant, and my wife and I had a great time. The restaurant is located inside of an old hotel, and if you like historical settings, then you'll love the vintage feel of this place. The hotel rooms don't seem to be used for anything anymore, although it seems like it would make a great B&B. They have a small but tasty menu of dishes, and the prices might be a tad high, but not terrible. The size of the portions could be a little bigger, especially the salads, which seemed unusually small for some reason. The quality of the food, however, was first rate. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated, and there are several rooms available. This gives it a feeling of being nicely intimate, without ever feeling crowded, since they can spread guest
Food was amazing would definitely recommend the lobser and the peach blackberry spritz!
