Old Chicago Red Hots

Overall enjoyed the food! The service was good but the cashier was a little stand offish. Mostly just not talkative which is fine! Our order was correct, food was brought to us. Atmosphere is only 4/5 due to the location and size. It is not ideal for bigger parties. 4 or less for groups and only 4 main sitting tables. VERY pricey for the type of food in my opinion, but isnt abnormal to other places with similar food items.

I ordered the Gyros Meal (Fries & Drink), an extra tzatziki sauce and brownie. The meat is from Kronos, which is always my favorite. Tzatziki sauce was nice and thick, not like others that were watered down. Service was good, she was polite and prompt when taking my order. She saw I was handicapped and wanted to help me anyway she can. Atmosphere was plain and I don’t mean it in a bad way. It wasn’t overly decorated. It was nice and clean.

First time visiting Chicago Dog House and we really enjoyed it. Nice selection of items , we ordered a Chicago style hot dog, gyro and buffalo chicken sandwich to go. Food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed each item and the standout item was the gyro. Great tzatziki sauce on the side and the sandwich was large with lots of gyro meat trimmed from the spit. Excellentvfires included with each sandwich. Looking forward to visiting again.

I went today for the first time.We were the only people there , it was probably about three o'clock. We ordered two chicago hot dogs with fries for ten ninety nine x2. This included fries and a drink except the diet drink was out on the machine so I wound up with nothing but water.The food took a very long time and there was no one there. When we finally got it there was one very thin slice of tomato a lot of mustard and the rest of the toppings on the hot dog was very scarce. I thought I was getting 2 hot dogs with fries.That means that the fries came with both of the hot dogs but that's not what happened. It's not worth the price.It wasn't good and very skimpy on the toppings. It is like they don't even know how to make a Chicago hot dog.They wanted to put cucumbers on it. Waste of time

Went for BOGO special couple weeks ago. Got the Gyro and fries with free Italian sausage with red sauce. Plenty of coated crispy fries, good thick tazhiki sauce. Disappointed with dry meat in gyro and dried out Italian sausage. Took 3 bites to get to sausage. Big bun. Plenty of spices in sausage but overcooked.
