Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

The place was a little warm. Was told the A/C was broken. The deep dish pizza was awesome. I enjoyed the Memphis dry rub one their traditional wings. Service was great.

Pretty disappointed overall. The food was all right. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great. The chicken Parmesan was well prepared and had really nice flavor. The wings were crispy and had a good amount of sauce on them. We did not care for the seasoning on the fried pickles but the Thai sauce was excellent. The service was pretty bad. It was not busy. They did not appear to be short staffed but they may have been. We were seated and our drink order was taken very quickly. Water came out fast. It took 20minutes for the Mai Thai. Our fried pickles took almost 40minutes. When they did come out they were luke warm, meaning they sat for a minute. They had no pepperoni left? The tavern thin crust pizza had a nice crunch. Food was great! Service does need some help. Our waitress was very friendly, seem to be trying to do her jobs. But, items for the group was forgotten, we had to request refills they was never offered, and food was misdelivered to correct person and also misbilled and the end. Service quality needs help.

I have tried 3 times since moving back here to eat at this establishment because I have had great experiences in other cities, and love the food. But all 3 times I have waited at the door for host/hostess to be seated, and have never been acknowledged. At no time did we ever see anyone to ask for help. I don't know if they need more employees or the ones they have are poorly trained, but extremely poor customer service. I will drive to the Springs in the future.

Ate here years ago and it was pretty good, finally came back and it will be the last time unfortunately. One of our pizzas got caught in the oven and burned so we had to wait for it to be remade, thats okay, understandable, but then when the pizzas did come out they were all pretty burned. The green peppers were pretty much just black charcoal sticks. The inside of the chicken wings were a bit pink and some were even red inside. Kinda weird but whatever. I think our waitress was new to waitressing because she didn't write down our order and forgot what drinks we ordered and also forgot part of our food order and had to come back and ask multiple times.
